SNOW ANGELS...

These haunting images are snow angels raised to a level of art. I think they are kind of arresting like someone frozen in the snow or a living snowman.

TATTOO...

Are these not some of the coolest tattoos you have ever seen...of course they only work if you are ripped but I think they are awesome.

I love to look at tattoos...it is soo interesting to see what people put permanently on their person...the icons that represent who the are...I find it fascinating.

Generally I am not in favor of tattoos for myself...mostly because I'm a wimp...yes the idea of being poked multiple time with a needle has no appeal and the thought of hearing (Oops!) in the middle of the process...well that is just terrifying!

I once considered having a pair of red lips tattooed on my bum...but I decided it would give the caretakers at the hospital or rest home I eventually end up at to much to laugh at...after all there isn't a much sorrier sight then saggy baggy lips on a saggy baggy bum.

Giving a whole new meaning to the phrase take a chair...this masterpiece by Tadashi Kawamata. I wonder how and who put the last chair way up there...Scary!

Edward Gorey the master artist of Mystery on PBS was so skilled at subtly implying doom that his wonderful...dark...intricate pen and ink drawings make me shudder just looking at them...and I love it.
