I have often felt that the color black has been much maligned and disrespected. Down through the ages it has been used to describe and or represent evil, death, and contagion, i.e. black plague, black hole, black death, black heart, black arts. Seen as a refuge for sinners a place to hide stains. Black is just a visual registration. The color of ultimate strength, not to be confused with darkness. Making anything beside it look good, and anyone wearing it look better. Black is handsome and beautiful, it is neither good or evil it just is. It is calming and a place of retreat, it is warm and useful and multifaceted, after all doesn't every girl need a little black dress.
