Welcome to Anne Noir. Today it is the Vernal Equinox the first day of spring, (but alas no colorful flowers here) It is a day of balance between light and dark. Like noir, shades of grey to black matching my mood some days. This is a place to leave the darkness and find the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. As long, as the light at the end of the tunnel is not an on coming train.
This is a place of truth, honest feelings, even on days when I am not fit for human consumption, there will be truth because we all need a place to hang our ugly truths. As the blog description says "Give me a mask, and I will tell you the truth." On those days I will be publishing black on black to spare you my self pity and ennui. There will also be dark humor and sick humor and wit and art of all kinds, and most especially music.
You have not crossed over to the "Darkside" I am not in search of spiritual darkness only some place to put it. A place to exorcise my emotional devils and my sick sense of humor, away from my darlings so I don't offend their delicate sensibility's.
So welcome to Anne Noir, leave a joke, express yourself, dump your garbage, that's what Anne Noir is for. But before you leave have a laugh, barrow a quote, and enjoy the music and the altered art. Because in the end we all know how much misery loves company.
