To my dear friends who frequent this blog...I realize that some of the pictures and things that I post here are very disturbing. It is the reason for "Anne Noir". I have this semi closed off site because I don't want my grandchildren to know what a wacko their Grannie is...The rest of you need not worry for my mental health any more then usual, as I am not about to leap off the deep end or anything close to it. I have always had a fascination with the bazaar, art and dark humor and slightly naughty wit. This is also the place I come to express my dark side, to record my not ready for prime time personal thoughts.
There comes a time when you must abandon the shipwreck that is your life and wade to shore.

I've been thinking about death lately not in a dying way just in contemplation. If you think about it death stalks us everyday, we are surrounded by multiple ways to depart this life. It would be interesting to know why some people die and some are seemingly spared, although not really because we will all go eventually. And what determines our time to go, (I hope it isn't by lessons learned I'll be here forever). I do not fear death because I know it isn't the end just the beginning of something else. And really when you think about it when you die here you are just being born into the next life when you arrive there. 
Michael Jackson............Extraordinary talent, perpetual "Peter Pan", innocent lost. I am sad for his untimely death for I loved his songs, but I mourn his bazaar and troubled life or what it appeared to be, because when all is said and done only he knew the truth of his life.
I am not my car, I am not my clothes, nor am I the house I live in or anything I posses or the friends I hang out with, although I may choose to become like them. 
Found this painting on the web unfortunately no artist was given credit. I thought it was an interesting subject upon first glance, a boy affectionately holding a fish but when I read the title the picture took on a whole new meaning. The title of the painting is "Peter the Apostle".
Amazing how without warning your life can change completely from one day to the next, and there is nothing for it but to adjust and go on....

Today is a beautiful sunny day the kind that makes you want to just lay back and float along with life...
Here's to my mother and grandmothers who tried so hard to make me into a perfectly wonderful someone, but alas they had so little to work with and despite all their best efforts I still turned out to be plain old ordinary oddball me. I thank them very much for trying though.
