Are these not some of the coolest tattoos you have ever seen...of course they only work if you are ripped but I think they are awesome.
I love to look at tattoos...it is soo interesting to see what people put permanently on their person...the icons that represent who the are...I find it fascinating.
Generally I am not in favor of tattoos for myself...mostly because I'm a wimp...yes the idea of being poked multiple time with a needle has no appeal and the thought of hearing (Oops!) in the middle of the process...well that is just terrifying!
I once considered having a pair of red lips tattooed on my bum...but I decided it would give the caretakers at the hospital or rest home I eventually end up at to much to laugh at...after all there isn't a much sorrier sight then saggy baggy lips on a saggy baggy bum.
oh wow. That really is a cool tattoo.
ReplyDeleteAnd no, I could not imagine getting a tattoo myself. When I was a teenager I saw an older lady who had gained probably 100 lbs since her arm tattoos and they were slip-sliding away down her arms and swinging next to her armpit/boobies every time she hefted her kid. Kind of put me off tattoos for life.
At least you can hide a bum-bum tattoo to a certain extent!
HALO DEAR DEANN,
ReplyDeleteIT REALLY ISN'T THAT BAD GETTING ONE. I GET ASK ALOT IF IT HURTS AND OF COURSE IT DOES BUT NOT UNBEARABLE. FOR A FIRST TATTOO IT IS BETTER TO GO VERY SMALL, LIKE A HEART OR STAR, DOESN'T TAKE THAT LONG, LESS THAN TEN MINUTES THE NEEDLE IS IN THE SKIN, ON BIG JOBS LIKE A WHOLE SLEEVE WORK DONE OR A ENTIRE BACK - THEY DO IN SESSIONS, DO A BIT THEN THEY TAKE BREAKS AND REST. IF YOU CAN HAVE A CHILD YOU CAN ENDURE THE PAIN :)
YOU KNOW I HAVE 13 TATTOO'S, GOT MY FIRST ONE WAY WAY BACK IN THE EARLY 1970'S. SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIKE THE PAIN AND THE TATTOO'S CAN BECOME ADDICTIVE.
HOPE YOUR FEELING WONDERFUL SWEETIE, I APPRECIATE YOUR PRAYERS. AND...
YOUR BLOG HERE LOOKS GREAT LOTS OF EYE CANDY TO CHECK OUT. HAVE ANOTHER GOOD GOOD DAY -
WAVING LOVE TO YOU :)
Hey Grannie,
ReplyDeleteI have a tatoo on my ankle.. It is a "memorial" tatoo.. It was awfully painful.
I would never do it again.. argh*
About Boris:
He is so..rt..a cuuute.. and.. uhmmm.. I can try to yike him, but if he comes at me too fast.. I may have to 'terminate' our friendship. After all, Boris just is a little by stander.. right?
Hugs, DArlene
I once wanted a tattoo'd heart on my earlobe. I thought I'd like to cover the scar on my ankle with a twining rose. (sigh)
ReplyDeleteBut I'm getting too old for that sort of thing. I do like to look at people's tattoo's though. People have actually asked if they could use some of my artwork for the purpose of a tattoo--there may be a few folks running around with my stuff on their bodies for the rest of their lives... (grin) What a thought!
